Jessie Johanning is an Executive Director and the Global Chief Operating Officer at Nomura Greentech.

Based in New York, Jessie manages Nomura Greentech’s business strategy, operations, marketing and communications, and talent development.

Prior to joining Nomura Greentech in 2020, Jessie was in JPMorgan’s Strategic Investments Finance team where she worked closely with investment professionals on portfolio management and valuation. Prior to that, she was part of Deloitte’s Assurance practice where she specialized in the financial services industry, focusing on registered investment companies and private equity. Jessie has worked and lived in Boston, New York and Luxembourg during her career.

Jessie chairs the Women in Banking network at Nomura Americas, and is an advocate for advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace.

Jessie holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in Accounting from Boston College. Jessie is a Certified Public Accountant.
