Kanishka Kelshikar is a Managing Director at Nomura Greentech.

Based in New York, Kanishka leads coverage of the Sustainable Packaging sector. He has over 15 years of experience advising corporates and private equity firms in a variety of industrials sectors including Traditional and Innovative Packaging, Building and Sustainable Products, and Water Technology and Equipment.

Kanishka has a strong background in M&A, including both sell-side and buy-side transactions for public and private companies, as well as equity and debt capital raising. Recent sell-side advisory transactions include the sale of AquaCentral, a Tenex portfolio company, to SRS Distribution; the sale of Henry, an American Securities portfolio company to Carlisle Companies for $1.6 billion;  and the sale of Jacuzzi Brands, a portfolio company of Ares, Apollo and Clearlake, to InvestIndustrial. Buy-side advisory transactions include Pentair’s acquisition of Pleatco Filtration; Centerbridge’s acquisition of American Bath Group; and Melrose’s acquisition of Nortek for $2.8 billion.

Kanishka joined Nomura in 2010 and started his career at Dominick & Dominick LLC.

Kanishka holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Economics (Honors) from Adelphi University. He graduated magna cum laude and was also elected to the Board of Trustees of Adelphi University from 2016 to 2020. Kanishka is a CFA Charterholder.
