Nomura Greentech hires David Verbitsky as Managing Director to lead the AgTech & Sustainable Food practice

Nomura Greentech is pleased to announce that David Verbitsky will be joining the firm as a Managing Director in New York effective today, January 31, 2022. David will lead the AgTech & Sustainable Food practice.

Nomura Greentech has developed a leading investment banking practice globally in the AgTech & Sustainable Food sector over the last few years, which has been further deepened by Nomura’s global Consumer investment banking practice.

David has spent over 15 years specializing in the Food & Agriculture sector, including 10+ years of experience in investment banking, most notably as Head of Agriculture & Nutrition investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Recently, David co-founded and served as Managing Partner of Spaceship Earth Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in Agri-Food Tech in emerging markets. David has dedicated his career to pursuing his passions in agriculture, healthier and cleaner food, environmental sustainability, ESG issues and impact investing.
