Duncan Williams

Duncan Williams is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Nomura Greentech.

Based in San Francisco, Duncan has over 25 years of public and private advisory and capital markets experience in sustainable infrastructure and more broadly across the technology and industrials sectors in North America and Europe, working both with established and emerging growth companies.

Duncan’s transaction experience includes advising Macquarie Asset Management on the acquisitions of Wheelabrator and Tunnel Hill Partners; Layne Christensen on its merger with Granite Construction; Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners on the acquisition of Seven Seas Water; and The Heritage Group / Cirba Solutions on its minority capital raise.

Previously, Duncan was a Managing Director at Wedbush Securities and Head of the Industrial Growth Technology practice, which he led for nine years, and an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank in the Industrial and Technology sector practices, based in London and San Francisco.

Duncan holds a Master of Arts in Modern History from Oxford University.
