Anoop Chaudhry is a Managing Director and Head of Nomura Greentech, Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, Anoop has 25 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors and has been a leading advisor to companies in Asia in the space of clean energy.

His recent transaction experience includes advising Jera on its energy transition investment in the Philippines, advising Chow Energy of Thailand on a market exit strategy from Japan, and advising Iberdrola on its first investment into Australia. Anoop also has extensive experience as a financial advisor to infrastructure funds and growth sustainability companies.

Anoop joined the firm from Barclays where he was head of the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure investment banking business in Asia Pacific, prior to which he worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse.

Anoop holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Honors Class 1) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
