Andrei Milekhin is a Managing Director at Nomura Greentech.

Based in London, Andrei leads Nomura Greentech’s Digital Infrastructure sector coverage effort globally. Andrei focuses on a variety of digital infrastructure and telecommunications markets and businesses globally and in Europe, in particular.

Andrei joined Nomura in July 2016 following two years at VimpelCom (now Veon) in Amsterdam, where he was responsible for origination / execution of M&A transactions, as well as spearheading VimpelCom’s portfolio strategy. Prior to joining VimpelCom, Andrei was a Director in the TMT Investment Banking team at UBS in London.

Notable recent transactions include advising Stonepeak on a c.€730 million acquisition of a 49% stake in Cellnex Nordics (Denmark and Sweden), GLIL on a £360m acquisition of a minority stake in Cornerstone in the UK, PGGM and EDF Invest on acquisition of a minority stake in Norlys Fiber in Denmark; GIC on acquisition of a minority stake in CETIN in Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary; Allianz Capital Partners on acquisition of a significant minority stake in American Tower Europe and a 50/50 partnership with Telefonica to roll-out FTTH network in rural Germany (€5 billion); Ardian on acquisition of Adamo in Spain and its acquisition of a minority stake in INWIT in Italy; PGGM on investment in Eurofiber alongside Antin; as well as sale of Towertel to Phoenix Tower International and F2i; and sale of Retelit to Asterion Industrial Partners (c.€700 million).

Andrei holds a degree in Economics from Moscow State University for International Relations (MGIMO).
