Alex Wotton

Alex Wotton is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Nomura Greentech, EMEA.

Based in London, Alex has 20 years of corporate finance experience.

His transaction experience includes advising Fluxys on the acquisition of a 24% stake in Open Grid Europe gas transmission, in Germany; Eurazeo and Infravia on the sale of Reden Solar for €2.5 billion; Meridiam in relation to the acquisition by New Suez of all Suez SA’s legacy recycling and recovery assets in the UK from Veolia; AXA and Predica on the acquisition of 50% of Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm; and ADIA, alongside SSE, on the sale of a 50% equity stake in SGN for £1.8 billion.

Prior to joining Nomura, Alex worked at Macquarie Capital, focusing on M&A, equity capital raisings, principal investing and debt advisory in the Infrastructure team.

Alex has a first class degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.
