Nomura Greentech is pleased to announce that Komu Kumar has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Komu will be based in the San Francisco office and focus on the renewable energy value chain, energy technology and low carbon infrastructure.
Nomura Greentech is a leading M&A and strategic advisor in the Sustainable Technology and Infrastructure sectors as demonstrated by its strong Client advisory and financing history and leading industry content generation.
Komu has spent over 14 years specializing in the renewable energy, cleantech and infrastructure sectors across investment banking, private equity and the public sector. Recently, Komu was at BofA Securities, Inc. and a member of the investment banking team covering renewable energy, cleantech, EV charging, and power and utilities. Prior to joining BofA Securities, Komu was a member of the Power, Utilities, Renewables and Infrastructure M&A group at Lazard. Komu has experience advising clients on public and private M&A transactions, SPACs, IPOs, private capital raises, restructuring mandates and other strategic assignments. Komu also worked in AMP Capital’s Infrastructure Equity team and with the Australian Federal Government, focusing on renewable energy and infrastructure.
