Greentech promotes Frank Nicklaus to Partner

Greentech Capital Advisors (“Greentech”) is pleased to announce the promotion of Frank Nicklaus to Partner.

Frank has worked in the renewable energy sector since 2010 and has closed M&A transactions representing over 10 GW of underlying renewable power assets. His most recent experience includes advising Noble Environmental Power on the sale of a 612 MW operating wind portfolio to the Carlyle Group, the Board of Directors of Deepwater Wind on the company’s sale to Ørsted, KKR on the sale of a 157 MW operating solar portfolio to Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and TerraForm Global on its sale to Brookfield.

Frank joined Greentech in 2015 from GE Energy Financial Services, where he executed cash and tax equity investments in wind and solar assets. He also worked for GE Power & Water’s wind business, and has prior experience in regulatory affairs with the American Wind Energy Association. Frank began his career as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and completed two tours in Iraq.
